Emergency Preparedness Week


May 1 - 7, 2016

Emergency Preparedness Week (EP Week) is an annual event that takes place each year during the first full week of May. This national event is coordinated by Public Safety Canada, in close collaboration with the provinces and territories and partners.

EP Week encourages Canadians to take three simple steps to become better prepared to face a range of emergencies:

  • Emergency Preparedness Presentation: Tuesday, May 3 at 7:00 pm in Council Chambers 
  • Emergency Preparedness Booth: Wednesday, May 4 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Haney Place Mall
  • Emergency Services Trailer: Thursday, May 5 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Maple Ridge City Hall Plaza
  • Emergency Preparedness Booth: Friday, May 6 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Valley Fair Mall
