Elementary and Secondary Schools

School District 42 meets the learning needs of approximately 14,000 students of all ages. Maple Ridge has developed numerous skilled trades training partnerships with colleges and universities and is committed to educational choice and an inclusive, local approach to special education. There are 17 elementary schools and 5 secondary schools in Maple Ridge.

Private Schools

Meadowridge is an independent, coeducational, International Baccalaureate World School offering students a university-preparatory education from Junior Kindergarten (age 4) to Grade 12. The 100,000 square foot facility is located in Maple Ridge.

The Conseil Scolaire Francophone de la Colombie-Britannique (Francophone Education Authority of BC) is an independent school board that provides French programming to students who have French as a first language.
