Complimentary Orientations

Fitness Centre Orientation

Our highly trained fitness staff will walk you through the gym/fitness centre, show you how to use the weight training and cardio equipment and offer some recommendations for a proper workout plan.

Youth Access Orientation

Youth between the ages of 13 and 15 years will need to complete this complimentary orientation to receive their Youth Access Pass, required to use the Fitness Centre. Parent or guardian must be present to sign waiver form.

Functional Personal Training Opportunities

Prevent injury, alleviate pain and build strength with Functional Personal Training. Whether you’re looking for one-on-one training, small group fitness, or want to work with a Functional Trainer to build a plan we have an option for you. For more information or to purchase a session please contact the Customer Service staff at the Maple Ridge Leisure Centre.

Supervision Hours

Our Fitness Centre Supervisors are on-site to help you. Please connect with them if you have any questions about the machines or need assistance with your workout. If you need access to the gymnasium during your workout time and the gym is not already booked, a gym supervisor may permit the use of the gymnasium in small numbers.

Monday 7:00 am – 11:00 am & 3:15 pm – 10:00 pm
Tuesday 3:15 pm – 10:00 pm
Wednesday 7:00 am – 11:00 am & 3:15 pm – 10:00 pm
Thursday 3:15 pm – 10:00 pm
Friday 7:00 am – 11:00 am & 3:15 pm – 10:00 pm
Saturday 2:45 pm – 9:30 pm


Located on the second floor of the Leisure Centre, the Fitness Centre offers a wide variety of options and fitness equipment including:
