117 Avenue Multi-Use Path (Burnett St to 231 St)

The City of Maple Ridge is planning to reconstruct the north side of 117 Avenue from Burnett Street to 231 Street to accommodate a 3.0 metre multi-use path and on-street parking. The work will involve tree and hedge removal in the road right-of-way and replacement of driveway access. The multi-use path will create a safe and inviting pedestrian and cycling facility on 117 Avenue to and from Golden Ears Elementary School.  The project will also upgrade the storm drainage system and provide new roadway and path streetlighting.

An Information Session was held on April 11, 2017, view the Display Boards and Drawings.

The contract has been awarded to Triahn Enterprises Ltd. and construction commenced mid July 2017. Project completion is anticipated by October, weather permitting.

Please plan for detours and thank you in advance for your patience during construction.
